A lot of factors go into this answer.
They might be worth a lot more than you think or they might be worth significantly less.
Today, the Eagle Ford is still some of the most sought-after acreage in the U.S. Acreage prices have since come down and stabilized for the most part, albeit, depending on the area, some leases can still go for $2000 – $3500 per net mineral acre.
Operators and mineral buyers alike have, and are continuing to hone in on the most productive and lucrative areas of the Eagle Ford. Operator drilling activities are very well defined throughout the play and many operators have already entered into their full field development stages and not leasing any new acreage.
However, we are currently seeing activity in the following counties: Fayette, Karnes, Gonzales, DeWitt, McMullen, LaSalle, and Dimmit. Whether your minerals are valuable in these areas depends greatly on their stage of development.
Do you know what stage your interests are in?
Find out today what your minerals and royalties could potentially be worth now and 5-10-20 years from now the results might be shocking.

The History of the Eagle Ford
The Eagle Ford shale stretches from Mexico all the way to through South Texas and into parts of East Texas. It’s roughly 50-75 miles wide in areas and stretches over 400 miles long and affects 27 counties in Texas with some counties being drastically more sought after than others.
With the discovery of horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing still fresh to the industry, it wasn’t until 2010-2011 when competition really started to heat up in the Eagle Ford and it seemed over night the “land grab” was on and acreage prices soared.
Oil and gas companies large and small started to hone-in on the most prolific, productive, and geologically sound areas.

Anyone who knew anything about what was going on was trying to get in on the action in anyway possible.
